Refund Policy - the basics

Velvet Heifer – Refund & Cancellation Policy

 

We understand that plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to accommodate adjustments. To ensure fairness for both our clients and our business, please review our refund policy below:

 

1. Cancellations

  • 1 Week before event: Full refund minus any non-refundable deposits or special-order product costs.

  • 48–72 hours before event: 25% refund of total order.

  • Less than 48 hours before event: No refund will be issued, as all items and prep will have been purchased and/or started.

 

2. Deposits

  • All events over $150 require a non-refundable deposit (amount disclosed at booking) to secure your date.

  • Deposits are applied toward your final balance and are not refundable in the event of cancellation.

 

3. Rescheduling

  • We are happy to reschedule your event at no additional charge if notified at least 1 week in advance and the new date is available.

 

4. Custom Orders & Perishables

  • Due to the nature of perishable goods, once an order is prepared or delivered, it is non-refundable.

  • If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us within 24 hours so we can address any concerns.

 

5. Force Majeure

  • In the case of severe weather, venue closure, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond either party’s control, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a credit toward a future event.
